Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an on-site role in Trenton, TN. This full-time position offers weekend coverage (every other Sat and Sun, 8p-8a) and involves providing holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting the RN, and supporting health-related training for staff.

The ideal candidate has an accredited LPN program diploma, an active nursing license, and CPR certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program.
Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification

Responsibilities

Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services to persons supported.
Provide health related training to unlicensed personnel.
Administer medications and treatments or assist the person supported with medication administration.
Assist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduled.
Conduct medication closest assessments.
Collect health related data.
Observe for and report any abnormal health related findings to the physician.
Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary Team.
Advocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health for the people supported
