Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide skilled home health nursing for pediatric patients. The role requires graduation from an approved LPN program, Ohio licensure, CPR certification, and about 1 year of pediatric/home health experience is preferred.

Overview

Starting Pay of $25.50/HR, Pay will commensurate with experience.

Offering a Sign on Bonus of $2000, half paid on first check and second half paid after 18 months (external applicants only).

Night Shift will be 8am-8pm, shift diff of $3.30/HR on top of base pay.

Essential Functions

• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or advanced practice providers.
• Monitors patients' vital signs and records their medical histories.
• Assists with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provides emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.

Education Requirement

Graduate of an approved school of practical or vocational nursing, required.

Licensure Requirement

Licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio, required.

Certifications
