Responsibilities

• Provides safe resident care, demonstrating knowledge and competency in completing assigned treatments and procedures according to established standards and policies.
• Incorporates age-specific needs, provision of care, procedures, and treatments.
• Completes routine tasks accurately without supervision.
• Communicates resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfer, and at shift report.
• Administers medications accurately according to the five rights and documents them.
• Performs treatments using sterile or clean technique.
• Administers external feedings.
• Demonstrates Cambridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center's mission, vision and values through professional excellence.
• Completes resident care activities within scheduled shifts and collaborates during emergencies.
• Cooperates with reassignments for resident care.
• Reports and proposes solutions to nursing management for resident care problems.
• Delegates care problems and solutions to appropriate nursing management.
