Responsibilities
- Provides safe resident care, following standards and policies.
- Incorporates age-specific needs and care provisions.
- Completes routine tasks accurately without supervision.
- Communicates resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfers, and at shift reports.
- Administers medications respecting the five rights and documents accordingly.
- Performs treatments using sterile or clean technique.
- Delivers external feedings as prescribed.
- Upholds Cambridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center's mission, vision and values.
- Completes care activities within scheduled shifts.
- Remains calm and exercises professional judgment in team settings during emergencies.
- Supports reassignments in the interest of resident care.
- Reports problems and proposes solutions to nursing management.
- Delegates care tasks appropriately to nursing staff.
