Job summary

Gateway Foundation in Caseyville, IL, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our residential treatment facility. You will monitor medication administration, support physicians, and perform routine health assessments within set protocols.

Three 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM–7:00 AM) with every-other-weekend work are required. Compensation ranges from $30.00 to $39.58 per hour, with merit reviews annually.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or Vocational Practice Nurse license as required by state.
• High school diploma.
• Completion of 12–18 months post-high school practical nursing training; pharmacology coursework needed to administer meds.

Responsibilities

• Monitors clients self-administering medications and reactions to medication.
• Works with RN to provide direct nursing care per physician orders and care plans.
• Conducts initial health screenings and assessments of clients’ medical needs.
• Assists physicians with client examinations or treatments.
• Charts vital signs, treatments and medications administered; maintains records.
