Qualifications

• Completion of a practical nursing program approved by the applicable state Board of Nursing.
• Current Iowa LPN license and active CPR certification.
• Willingness to learn, follow policies, and provide resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents per individualized care plans and physician orders.
• Monitor health status, report changes to RN, and document accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy and orders.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and safeguarding resident rights.
• Collaborate with RNs, nursing assistants, and interdisciplinary team.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and follow facility procedures.
