Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Caledonia, MI, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric patients in a homecare setting, with a 2:1 patient ratio. Both part-time and full-time roles are available.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care; administering prescribed orders; monitoring patient status and documenting findings. Qualifications include active LPN license in the state, current TB or chest X-ray, and

• Currently licensed as an LPN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
