Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is seeking a Medication Nurse in Minnesota to administer methadone as prescribed, screen patients, and coordinate with counselors to monitor progress. The role supports compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as LPN/LVN or RN in MN.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Preferred experience in chemical addiction.
• Accurate data entry skills and basic computing knowledge.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer methadone as prescribed.
• Evaluate and assess new and current patients for treatment appropriateness.
• Observe and assess patients post-administration.
• Follow physician orders.
• Maintain patient dosing records and medication inventory reconciliation.
• Train new nurses.
• Comply with regulatory and accrediting requirements.
• Participate in weekly treatment meetings and trainings.

Education

LPN/LVN or RN MN

CPR and First Aid certified

Valid driver’s license

Experience in chemical addiction (preferred)
