Job summary

John Knox Village Limited in Missouri is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct resident care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will perform nursing assessments, follow the care plan, document care, and support the PRIDE values.

This role requires an accredited nursing program, Missouri LPN licensure, current BLS, and a valid driver\'s license. You may delegate tasks to care givers and handle routine duties, with safety and professional conduct emphasized.

Qualifications

• Combination of education, training and experience from an accredited School of Nursing.
• LPN licensure by the Missouri State Board of Nursing required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident/patient care per a specific plan and departmental services.
• Timely and accurate reporting of resident/patient changes to the RN and/or other staff.
• Accurately complete required documentation of nursing care to meet state and Village requirements.
• May delegate appropriate tasks to care givers and follow up on assignments.
• May perform homemaking and environmental services as needed for department services.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain workplace conduct.
• Support the Village mission and PRIDE values.
