Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support, accurate medication administration, and diligent health monitoring for residents. You will document in MAR/TAR in real time and support care plan updates with a focus on resident safety.

The role requires an active LPN license, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong assessment and documentation skills, with senior care or medication administration experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification are required.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills are expected.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.
