Sunrise Senior Living in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support, administer medications per physician orders, and maintain accurate MAR/TAR documentation.

You will monitor residents' health, report changes promptly, and uphold safety and regulatory standards while delivering compassionate care in a senior living community.

Applicants must hold an active LPN license, CPR/First Aid, and prefer experience in senior care.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.
