Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Fairfield, CT is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to deliver safe, accurate medication administration and monitoring for residents. You will document in MAR/TAR, follow regulations, and support individualized care plans.

Ideal candidates hold an active LPN license, current CPR/First Aid, and prior experience in senior care or medication administration. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs)
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards
