Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support, ensuring safe medication administration and accurate clinical documentation for residents. You will monitor health status, document in MAR/TAR, and report changes promptly while upholding regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes following the Six Rights, maintaining organization of medication carts, and collaborating with care teams to protect resident health.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts and complete narcotic counts.

You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred

Pay Range:

29.25 - 39.05
