Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated LPN Medication Nurse to deliver safe, accurate care for residents. You will administer meds per orders, follow Six Rights, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitor patient conditions to support timely care decisions.

Ideal candidates hold an active LPN license, CPR/First Aid, and strong assessment skills; prior senior care or medication administration experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards
