Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking an LPN for Medical Surgical - VNA in Fairhaven, MA. This per diem role supports the day shift from 8:00am to 4:30pm, covering Team 1 areas including Rehoboth, Somerset, Swansea, Seekonk, and nearby communities.

The successful candidate will provide competent nursing care, patient education, and collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager to promote health maintenance for individuals, families, and the community.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager, provide competent healthcare in the clinical setting and promote health maintenance through teaching, counseling, and preventive care.

We are searching for a talented LPN Medical Surgical - VNA

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Day shift, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Location: Visiting Nurse Association - Fairhaven, MA; Team 1 coverage area- Rehoboth, somerset, Swansea, Seekonk,Assonet, Raynham,Taunton,Dighton, Berkely and Freetown.

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager or designee, provide competent health care to individuals and families in the clinical setting. Promote health maintenance of individuals, families and the community through teaching, counseling, collaborative planning and appropriate preventative and rehabilitative nursing measures.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing is required.

• Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs is preferred.

• One (1) year of nursing experience is required; home care experience is preferred.

• Current LPN Licensure is required in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and may be required in Rhode Island, subject to geographic area assignment.

• Home care experience preferred

• Basic Life Support (BLS) & CPR certification is also required.

• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $30.38 - USD $45.61 /Hr.
