Job summary

UPMC | GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a medical assistant to join our urgent care team. You will register patients, prepare examinations, record medical histories, and assist providers with procedures in a fast-paced environment.

We value collaboration, patient-focused care, and a strong work ethic. A high school diploma is required, completion of a Medical Assisting program is preferred, with BLS certification at hire and MA certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of Medical Assisting program preferred.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Certification as MA (CCMA/CMA/RMA/NCMA/NRCMA) preferred or 1+ year MA/phlebotomy experience.
