HealthPartners is hiring for a LPN/Medical Assistant/EMT working in the Primary Care Float department at HealthPartners.

This position will float between Coon Rapids, West End and Brooklyn Center Health Partners Primary care.

Qualifications for LPN:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current LPN licensure in Minnesota.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross (online certification not accepted).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• One year of LPN experience preferred.

Qualifications for Medical Assistant:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an accredited EMT program with current EMT license.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration preferred.

Responsibilities for LPN:

• Identify and address common nursing needs.
• Perform routine procedures and testing.
• Assist patients in achieving health goals.
• Provide education and document observations.
• Ensure safe, accurate patient care and communicate with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities for Medical Assistant:

• Room patients, take vital signs, and prepare for procedures.
• Administer medications and assist with clinical procedures.
• Review patient charts and provide educational materials.
• Handle patient records confidentially.
• Assist with preparing exam rooms and patient preparation.
• Process lab and radiology forms, and handle communication and documentation.
