Employment Details

• Work Shift: Day (United States of America)
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
• Compensation: Salary Range $17.00 – $29.50
• Sign On Bonus available for qualified candidates
• Union Position: No
• Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm (no weekends or major holidays)

Responsibilities

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician
• Perform nurse visits, administer vaccines, take blood pressure checks, remove sutures & staples, weigh patients, refill medications, and communicate with pharmacy
• Education and communication with patients and families to provide high‑quality care
• Work collaboratively with providers in a fast‑paced and team‑oriented environment

Medical Assistant (MA)

• Assist nursing staff and providers to deliver high‑quality patient care
• Room patients, administer vaccines, take vitals, and complete other administrative duties within state scope of practice guidelines
• Support providers in a positive environment and make a meaningful impact on patient and family experience

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with the state nursing board and/or possesses multi‑state licensure privileges
• Maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications
• If IV therapy/management skills are required: graduation from a board‑approved AASPN program or completion of an approved IV therapy course

Medical Assistant (MA)

• Graduate from a recognized medical assistant program
• Preferably have prior experience in a healthcare setting
• Nationally certified or registered as an MA (CMA or RMA) through a recognized program (e.g., AAMA, CCMA, CMAC, NCMA, NCCT)
• Registration as an MAIII through the ND Board of Nursing (for North Dakota) or appropriate state registration as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment with recertification as needed
• All medication administration prior to MAIII registration must be supervised by a licensed nurse
