Community Health Systems, Inc. seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide essential nursing care under the supervision of RNs and in collaboration with the healthcare team. You will assess patients, administer medications, and help implement care plans to support safe, high-quality outcomes.

This role emphasizes adherence to the Nurse Practice Act and state regulations, accurate documentation, patient education, infection control, and readiness to respond in emergencies.

Formación

• 0-1 year of LPN experience in a healthcare setting required.
• State licensure as LPN or LVN required.
• BCLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care under RN supervision and monitors vital signs.
• Conducts focused patient assessments and reports changes.
• Administers medications, treatments, and injections per protocol.
• Contributes to development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
• Maintains accurate nursing documentation in the medical record.
• Educates patients and families on health maintenance and discharge care.
• Ensures infection control and safety standards are followed.
• Assists with basic procedures (wound care, catheterization, specimen collection).
• Participates in orientation and training of new staff or nursing students.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Prepares equipment and supplies for patient care.
• Responds to emergencies and supports code team as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains reliability.
