The role emphasizes collaboration with healthcare teams, documentation accuracy, patient education, and adherence to infection control. Prior experience is 0–1 year; licensure and BCLS are required, ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting.
• LPN or LVN licensure required; state licensure responsive to practice.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong nursing principles and patient care knowledge.
• Proficient in patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation.
• Excellent communication with patients and healthcare teams.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control.
• Adaptability to changing patient care needs.
• Willingness to participate in orientation/training as needed.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care under RN supervision, including vital signs and daily living activities.
• Performs focused patient assessments and reports changes to the team.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Contributes to care plan development and evaluation.
• Maintains accurate documentation in medical records.
• Educates patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Ensures infection control and safety standards are followed.
• Assists with wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection within scope.
• Supports orientation and training of new staff or nursing students.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Prepares equipment and supplies for patient care.
• Responds to emergencies and supports code team interventions.
