Job Overview

The LPN Medication Care Manager provides quality care by administering medications and treatments safely and effectively, adhering to all relevant laws, standards, and policies. This role embodies Sunrise's mission to champion the quality of life for seniors.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments, ensuring safety and documentation accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation of all resident information.
• Assist in medication management, including refills, inventory, and narcotics counting.
• Provide resident care with dignity, promoting independence and safety.
• Participate in safety, risk management, and team engagement activities.
• Support the development and updating of individual care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or equivalent, with current certifications.
• CPR and First Aid certifications, maintained as required.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities calmly and effectively.
