Job Overview

The LPN Medication Care Manager is responsible for providing the highest quality care by administering medication and treatments safely and organized. Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, conducting SHUs, and providing resident care in accordance with laws, standards, regulations, and Sunrise policies to ensure high-quality services.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Medication Administration

• Administers medications and treatments safely and organized.
• Documents medication administration accurately.
• Follows the Six Rights of Medication Pass.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident information.
• Reports resident concerns and assists in medication checks.

Resident Care

• Notifies RCD of resident or family concerns.
• Participates in team meetings and updates care plans.

Risk Management & Safety

• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and practices safety procedures.
• Reports accidents and unsafe conditions immediately.

Training & Team Contribution

• Participates in team activities and training.
• May supervise other team members.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or equivalent license.
• Maintains certifications as required.
• Previous experience with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication and judgment skills.

Compensation

$29.50/hour
