Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse in Franklin Lakes, NJ to provide licensed nursing support, administer medications, monitor residents, and document care in MAR/TAR in real time.

This part-time role requires an active LPN license in good standing, CPR and First Aid certification, and prior experience in senior care or medication administration. You will follow the Six Rights, maintain medication carts, and support care plan updates.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.
