Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is hiring an LPN Medication Nurse in River Forest, IL. You will provide licensed nursing support, administer medications, monitor residents, and document accurately in MAR/TAR to support personalized care plans.

You will follow Six Rights medication administration, observe changes, and report any adverse reactions while maintaining narcotic counts and compliant records. Join our team delivering safe, compassionate care in a respectful senior living setting.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Maintain medication carts and complete narcotic counts.
• Uphold regulatory compliance and resident safety.
