Job summary
Asbury Solomons in Solomons, MD, is seeking an experienced LPN to join our Nursing team. You will participate in care planning, complete MAR and treatment records, and monitor residents' conditions with daily rounds.
The position offers comprehensive benefits, daily pay, and a supportive culture, with a focus on safe resident-to-nurse ratios and strong leadership. Maryland LPN license and CPR certification are required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in medical/surgical, rehab, or geriatrics nursing, or significant medical/surgical clinical experience during schooling is preferred.
- Current Maryland LPN License
- Current CPR Certification
Responsibilities
- Participates in care planning process and updates for change in condition.
- Completes MAR & treatment record, assuring drug monitoring indicators are identified.
- Assures required lab values are obtained for drug monitoring as recommended by RX.
- Obtains physicians' orders on new residents and completes physicians' order sheet and assessments
- Makes daily rounds to be aware of residents' conditions and environment.
- Informs primary care physician of significant changes.
