Job summary

Southern Health Partners, Inc. seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Cherokee County Detention Center team in Gaffney, SC.

This full-time, day-shift position offers a rotating schedule, including every other weekend, and a sign-on/retention bonus. You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, monitor patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team to provide quality care in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing.
• Experience in clinical or correctional settings is a plus.
• Ability to perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and intake screenings.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, RNs, and correctional staff.
• Respond to urgent and emergency medical situations.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Provide patient education and promote wellness.
• Support a safe, respectful, and compassionate healthcare environment.
