Southern Health Partners, Inc. in Cherokee County Detention Center (Gaffney, SC) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time day shift on a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend. Sign-on & retention bonus available.

You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and document care in EMRs, while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and correctional staff to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• LPN license or certification required.
• Experience in clinical care settings preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in correctional health care environment.

Responsabilités

• Perform nursing assessments and intake screenings.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and correctional staff.
• Respond to urgent and emergency medical situations.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Provide patient education and promote wellness.
• Help ensure a safe, respectful, and compassionate healthcare environment.
