Job summary

Southern Health Partners, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Cherokee County Detention Center team in Gaffney, SC. This full-time day shift role features a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend and a sign-on/retention bonus.

You will provide direct patient care in a correctional health setting, supporting physicians and other staff. Responsibilities include nursing assessments, medication administration, patient education, EMR documentation, and responding

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and intake screenings
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and correctional staff
• Respond to urgent and emergency medical situations
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Provide patient education and promote wellness
