Job summary

Southern Health Partners, Inc. seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Cherokee County Detention Center in Gaffney, SC. This full-time, day shift position features a rotating schedule with every other weekend, and a sign-on and retention bonus.

You will join a collaborative healthcare team delivering quality care in a secure, professional environment. You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, monitor patients, maintain EMR records, educate patients, and respond to

Qualifications

Active LPN license in good standing.
Experience in corrections or healthcare settings preferred.
Ability to document care accurately and timely.
Strong communication with medical staff and inmates.

Responsibilities

Perform nursing assessments and intake screenings.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately.
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and correctional staff.
Respond to urgent and emergency medical situations.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
Provide patient education and promote wellness.
Help ensure a safe, respectful, and compassionate healthcare environment.
