Job summary

Community Health Center of Middletown is seeking a part-time LPN to provide clinical support in our Maternal Health Unit. The role is 20-24 hours weekly, with Wednesday and Thursday shifts and possible weekend rotation.

You will perform routine nursing tasks, assist with immunizations, meds, EKGs, and CLIA-waived tests, ensure patient flow, and maintain infection control. CT LPN license and CPR certification required; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• LPN program completion and CT LPN license required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work well in a team and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical support under supervision of providers in a primary care setting.
• Prepares patients for visits using established criteria and tools.
• Documents chief complaints and results from tests and screenings.
• Performs CLIA-waived tests, EKG, and vaccines as delegated.
• Assists with medication administration and patient flow to optimize care.
• Maintains infection control standards and clean exam rooms daily.
