Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC) - CIFC Health's Women's Health Department is seeking a compassionate LPN to join our team in Danbury, CT.

This position offers part-time or full-time hours, working alongside doctors, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to our patients. Responsibilities include gathering information, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with exams, educating patients, maintaining

Qualifications

• LPN license in CT and current status required.
• Experience in pediatrics preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Understanding of medical terminology and nursing protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Gather information for providers' assessment and patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and medical history.
• Assist with exams and procedures within licensure.
• Educate patients and families on healthcare topics.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with school nurses, WIC, DCF and other departments.
• Triage calls using established protocols for appropriate care.
• Provide education on after-hours, triage, referrals, and disease states.
• Set up home therapies when indicated by a provider.
