Job Description

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Medical Assistant (MA), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary

Provides practical nursing care to patients in accordance with the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards, and PNHS policy. Supports multiple areas within a clinic setting with strong interpersonal skills and flexibility while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights.

Work Schedule

  • Variable 0.6 FTE
  • Could be 3 days per week or 4 one week and 2 the next.
  • Mainly located at Burnsville with a small chance of coverage in St. Louis Park.

Required Qualifications

We are open to filling this position with an LPN, MA, or EMT. Requirements for each are outlined below:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing. Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing. Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. Online BLS certification is not acceptable.
  • Medical Assistant (MA): Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES.
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): Graduate of an accredited EMT program and current MN EMT License. Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. Online BLS certification is not acceptable.
