Maple Grove Primary Care is looking for an individual to fulfill an exciting role as a Clinic Support Staff (CSS) member! As either a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively alongside clinicians to identify issues, guide patients, and solve problems. Our CSS are the first clinical individual that our patients work with and are responsible for a variety of direct patient care tasks such as gathering and documenting vitals, assisting in procedures, administering vaccines, and more. Our CSS team members have a very consistent schedule weekly and our goal is to have the CSS working alongside a set provider, although it is extremely important to be flexible as changes can happen day to day due to PTO, sick calls, or other unforeseen situations. Maple Grove has a well-established team with many CSS team members having worked here more than 15 years. As the clinic continues to grow, and more providers are added to our team, we continue to search for the best quality applicants to join our team. As a part of our team, you will be providing care for patients which may include the following duties:
This role requires a BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
Must meet one of the following:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing. Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing.
OR
Medical Assistant (MA): Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by “The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
OR
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT):
One or more years of healthcare experience is desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine).
