Qualified candidates hold current LPN/LVN licensure in Indiana or a compact state, with BLS certification. IV certification must be obtained within 90 days if required by state regulations.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN licensure required in the state where hospital resides or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required; AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• IV certification within 90 days if required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the direction of an RN on the unit.
• Gather and report patient data and carry out orders.
• Perform therapeutic procedures as appropriate for the patient population.
