Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide patient care under the direction of an RN in our inpatient unit. The role emphasizes data gathering, reporting, and administering therapies per physician orders within PAM Health guidelines.

Required qualifications include active LPN/LVN licensure in the state (or compact), current BLS (AHA approved within 90 days), and IV certification if state regulations require it.

Qualifications

• Holds current licensure as LPN/LVN in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment if state regulations require it.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN on the unit.
• Gather and report data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures on patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner.
• Adhere to PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines while delivering care.

Education

LPN/LVN license (state of practice or compact licensure)

Current BLS certification (AHA approved)
