Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Rocky Mount is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our inpatient unit in Rocky Mount, NC. You will apply the nursing process under the supervision of the RN, delivering direct care to medically complex and critically ill patients requiring extended hospitalization.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted LPN license in the state you are applying
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire (reimbursement provided)
• Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the RN on the unit, the LPN delivers care using the nursing process.
• Provide direct patient care to medically complex and/or critically ill patients requiring extended hospitalization.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to carry out individualized care plans.
• Gather and report data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures.
• May perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
