PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Rocky Mount is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team in Rocky Mount, NC. The role involves providing nursing care under the supervision of an RN, and performing routine procedures in an inpatient setting.

Current state-licensure as LPN/LVN with BLS (AHA) certification is required. IV certification within 90 days may be required by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• BLS certification current and AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• IV Certification within 90 days of employment if required by state regulations.
• One year inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the direction of an RN.
• Gather and report data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures.
• Deliver age-appropriate care following hospital policies and guidelines.
