Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care in a long-term care setting. Under supervision of a registered nurse or physician, you will administer medications, perform treatments, and support residents’ health and safety.

Responsibilities include charting, collaboration with the care team, and ensuring confidentiality. Requires an accredited LPN program graduate and an active LPN license; IV therapy knowledge may be required in some states.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Must hold unencumbered LPN license in state nursing board.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident care and communicate with the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to support residents' needs.
