Job summary

Avera Oahe Manor is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN, rotating days/evenings/nights and weekends. The position offers a flat rate of $35.00/hr with a minimum commitment of 624 hours per calendar year and at least 6 weekend shifts annually.

The LPN will plan and coordinate direct resident care, participate in interdisciplinary team activities, and support patient education and safety within the facility. Flexibility and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with active license in state of practice.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of nursing experience.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to residents.
• Conduct daily rounds and communicate with the care team.
• Administer routine medications and document treatments.
• Ensure accurate documentation and participate in interdisciplinary care plans.
• Assist in training nursing staff and maintain infection control standards.
