Job summary

Good Samaritan is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Brainerd, MN long-term care facility. The LPN provides professional nursing care under the supervision of a RN/physician, administers medications, and supports residents and families as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and an unencumbered LPN license; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Unencumbered LPN license required; ND IV therapy course may be required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Work under supervision of a registered nurse, APN, or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor and report status.
