Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care. The role operates under supervision with a 36-hour workweek and a day shift.

The position requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, an active LPN license, and the ability to administer medications and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. A generous sign-on bonus of $10,000 is offered.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an LPN license.
Experience with IV therapy/management as applicable in North Dakota.
Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with state nursing board or multi-state licensure privileges.
Completes required CEU and competency training for the department and facility.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care for residents in long term care under supervision.
Demonstrate nursing principles and apply age-appropriate standards.
Assess residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
Maintain documentation of resident care, medications, outcomes, and interactions.
Collaborate with health care professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team.
