Working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Penn State Health, you are the heart and backbone of patient care. In regards to our pediatric patients, the Nyes Road Suite D - Children's Heart Group is seeking a capable and team-oriented LPN to join its team. This office will offer you the opportunity to work in three (3) different pediatric specialties with a multi-disciplinary team: Pediatric Cardiology, General Pediatrics, and Pediatric Weight Management.
The hired LPN will be expected to accomplish a variety of clinical and administrative duties that include, but are not limited to: rooming patients, assessment, vaccination/medication administration, well-visit screenings, performing EKGs, assembling Holter monitors, point of care testing, etc. This office offers growth opportunities, and involvement in quality and safety projects, and may require minimal travel to the Children's Heart Group outreach sites.
The ideal LPN for this position will prioritize teamwork with a pointed patient-first focus. Strong communication and flexibility will allow the LPN to be successful with this team.
