Job summary

Holland Center is hiring LPNs for our Personal Care Unit on the Day Shift (7am-7pm) in Newtown, PA. Join a dynamic team committed to providing the best life and care for our residents. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is available, and the position is part-time with three days per week.

You will participate in daily care, communicate with nursing management, and support restorative nursing measures. Benefits include PTO, health, dental, and vision coverage as part of joining Holland Center.

Qualifications

• Active LPN certification required.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of residents.
• Ensure restorative nursing measures are performed as ordered.
• Maintain communication with nursing management about conditions and staff concerns.
• Explain treatment goals to residents and families to obtain cooperation.
• Supervise and manage personnel on the unit.
• Other duties as assigned.

Charge Nurse LPN Responsibilties:

• Provide for the daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of the resident.
• Assure that restorative nursing care measures are performed as indicated and ordered.
• Maintain open communication with nursing management regarding conditions on the nursing unit and concerns related to staff, residents and visitors.
• Explain treatment goals and expectations to the resident and family, in an effort to obtain feedback and cooperation.
• Supervise/manage personnel on the unit.
• Any other job duties as assigned
