Job summary

Pennswood Village is seeking an LPN to provide nursing care to independent living residents on our senior living campus. Full-time role, 64 hours bi-weekly, 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., on-campus position.

You will perform health assessments, administer medications, monitor conditions, and participate in individualized care planning with a multidisciplinary team. Travel is not required on this campus.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania LPN license.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Pennswood Village is seeking an LPN to provide nursing care to independent living residents located on our senior living campus.

In this role, you'll provide individualized nursing care to residents while working as part of Pennswood Village's health care team. All care is provided on our campus-no travel required.

The Position

• Administer medications and perform clinical nursing procedures

Position Requirements

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.

Licensed to practice as an LPN in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Additional education in physical assessment.

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

Prior experience in geriatrics preferred.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to meet the physical demands of the position, i.e., lifting a minimum of 20 lbs., bending, transferring of patients. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
