Five Star Nursing is seeking licensed practical nurses (LPNs) to support skilled nursing facility clients with follow-through of physician plans and under RN supervision. The role emphasizes compassionate care and community health advocacy.

We offer flexible scheduling (days/evenings/nights/weekends), paid orientations, weekly direct deposit, and options for health insurance. Duties include patient assessment, medication administration, and patient education as part of the care team.

Formación

• Active LPN license to work in New York.
• CPR certification (BLS or ALS accepted).
• Meets state and federal requirements for employment in a nursing facility.
• Strong patient assessment skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated clinical competency within a nursing setting.

Responsabilidades

• Instruct patients and families in proper treatment and care.
• Help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health.
• Assess and record symptoms and progress in patients.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.

LPN/ Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements:

• Currently holds an active LPN license to work in New York.
• CPR Certified (BLS or ALS accepted)
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
• Strong patient assessment skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Demonstrated clinical competency

Five Star LPNs are expected to carry out the following tasks:
