Five Star Nursing is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide follow-through of physician-established plans within skilled nursing facilities, under the supervision of the RN Supervisor. Join a team that values advocacy, education, and community health.

Qualifications

• Currently holds an active LPN license to work in New York.
• CPR Certified (BLS or ALS accepted).
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
• Strong patient assessment skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Demonstrated clinical competency

Responsibilities

• Instruct patients and their families in proper treatment.
• Help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health.
• Assess and record symptoms and/or reactions and progress in patients.
• Administer patient medications as prescribed by the treating physician.
• Assist in rehabilitation in accordance with the physician's established plan of treatment.
