Hospice Home Care in Little Rock is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our compassionate team. You will provide patient-centered end-of-life care and follow established care plans in a supportive, team-driven environment.

Key responsibilities include hands-on nursing, detailed record-keeping, family education, care coordination with the hospice team, and participation in training and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.
• Three years nursing experience; hospice or medical/surgical preferred.
• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state.
• CPR certification current where required.

As a Hospice LPN You will:

• Give hands-on care to patients nearing the end of life, following state nursing rules.
• Follow the care plan after assessing the patient’s needs.
• Keep clear and timely records of the care provided.

• Help coordinate care by communicating with the hospice team (like aides, chaplains, social workers).
• Manage pain and symptoms, checking how well treatments are working.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.
• Three years nursing experience. Community health/hospice or medical/surgical experience is preferred.
• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the State.
• Comply with accepted professional standards and practice.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification in states where required.
• Understand philosophy of hospice concept. Also understand needs of the terminally ill.
• Use own knowledge and experience base and other resources as necessary to make logical decisions and solve problems.
• Demonstrate good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
