Alumus Healthcare is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse in Phoenix, Arizona, to provide nursing and palliative care to hospice patients. The role involves coordination of services and management of pain/symptoms while ensuring effective and efficient care.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited nursing program and possess a valid license in Arizona, with good communication and organizational skills. Competitive pay ranging from $28 to $35 per hour is also offered.

Qualifications

• Community health/hospice experience preferred but willing to train.
• Must be a licensed driver with a suitable insured automobile.

Responsibilities

Licensed Practical Nurse

• Participates in coordination of hospice services, appropriately reporting the identified needs to the interdisciplinary group.
• Provides appropriate pain/symptom management/evaluates patient's response to treatments/medications.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the registered nurse.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.
• Community health/hospice is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the State of Arizona.
• Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
• Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
