Job summary

Alumus is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team in Silverdale, WA. You will be responsible for providing quality nursing care in patients' homes and ensuring proper documentation during patient admissions and discharges.

The ideal candidate will have a current LPN/LVN license and at least 2 years of experience, educating patients about various health conditions. Alumus offers a flexible work schedule and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Report discrepancies concerning physician's orders to the Director of Nursing.
• Ensure appropriate documentation for unauthorized discharges is entered.

Responsibilities

• Complete and scan required record‑keeping forms/charts upon the guest’s admission, transfer, and/or discharge.
• Chart nurses’ notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the guest, as well as the guest’s response to the care.
• Report all discrepancies noted concerning physician’s orders, diet change, charting error, etc., to the Director of Nursing.
• Ensure that appropriate documentation concerning unauthorized discharges is entered in the guest’s medical record in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license required or Compact State license.
• A minimum of 2 years LPN/LVN experience required.
• Able to educate patients and family on multiple disease processes and have good medication knowledge and wound‑care experience.
