Aleca Hospice in Arizona is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our compassionate hospice team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will deliver nursing and palliative care to patients and help coordinate services with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Provides pain/symptom management and evaluates patient responses.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the RN.

Responsibilities

• Participates in coordination of hospice services, appropriately reporting the identified needs to the interdisciplinary group.
• Provides appropriate pain/symptom management/evaluates patient’s response to treatments/medications.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the registered nurse.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.
• Community health/hospice is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the State of Arizona.
• Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
• Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
